Pumilio Isla Popa (Golden)
It's been a bit since I posted about these guys and with good reason. The male from the trio was gone pretty quickly. I can only guess at an overload of parasites as the cause. I've been waiting to find a comparable male since my girls tested negative. I was able to pick up a very nice little male from a DB member recently. The girls and this guy are now finally in their permanent home and he's been calling like crazy. I love it when things work out.
And a FTS. It's a bit old, before the rest of the leaf litter was added and plants grew in a bit, but I didn't want to disturb them to clean off the front glass.
** Edit: I came back a couple hours later and found these. Glad I didn't disturb them.
Pumilio BSC
The BSC froglets are coming along nicely. I think this little chub is my favorite. Wish the camera would focus on him better though.
Caught mom transporting the other day (sortof).

And she has another clutch of 10 developing on a leaf.
Still can't get over the brilliant orange on these guys!

Ranitomeya Sirensis (Green)
These guys are one of my favorites right now. Shy, beautiful frogs with a subtle, harmonic call.

First Pumilio BSC OOTW
Found this active little Salt Creek yesterday morning. He's out exploring nearly every time I walk by the tank.
And later I found his little brother :)

Pumilio Cayo de Agua
As I mentioned last year, Cayo de Agua is one of my favorite Pumilio morphs. However, my first attempt to acquire them turned out pretty sour. Between being shipped metamorphs, parasites, seizures, and death, the experience was mostly a nightmare. I still have one froglet left, but after what she's been through I decided it's best to keep her out of the breeding pool.
Last month I noticed an ad for 3 Cayo de Agua froglets by CA breeder Robert Nahn. I took a chance and I am absolutely thrilled that I did. The froglets that showed up were incredibly colorful, fat, and active. Though they were advertised as the same age as my original CDA froglets, they arrived 3 times as big and much more vibrant in color.
Check out the greens, blues, and yellow on this guy!

Ranitomeya Imitator Varadero
Not the best photo, but I haven't wanted to do anything but through the glass shots until they have more time to settle in. I must admit, the seller's son is much more talented that I.

Ranitomeya Sirensis (Green)
I was able to get a couple pictures of one of these elusive little guys this morning. The symmetry in their patterns blows me away. Beautiful little frogs!

Uncanny Resemblance - Pumilio BSC
My mom brought this little guy back from a recent trip to Washington. She very carefully picked him out remembering that I had orange frogs. I'd say the artist designed it from our Salt Creek Pums. What do you think?

From Day 1 to Transport - Pumilio BSC
I was so hoping to get an actual transport shot, but every time I checked on the tank there was another tadpole gone and no mom in sight.
Dad was consistently perched right above surveying the day's events.
