When it looked like the 2.2 Rambala that I picked up in 2012 were more likely 3.1, I brought in another "female."
After treatment, and an eight month quarantine, she was good to go and went in with the spotted guy.
He's been calling nearly non-stop to her but she seems fairly uninterested. I did notice with the other pair that the females seem to take a while to settle in and respond so hopefully that's all it is and I don't have another male on my hands.

Mother's Day Tribute
Here's a little ode to some of the gorgeous girls in my collection.
| Mama Cristo whose babies are even better looking than her |
| Scarface Cristo is a devoted mom |
| One of the chubby toad girls |
| Gorgeous hopeful CDA girl. Not a peep in 1 1/2 years and very alluring to her male companion |
![]() |
| Though the Salt Creek girls are hard to tell apart, they are amazing moms |
![]() |
| Such devotion! |
| Slow and steady wins the race for the pretty popa girls |
![]() |
| Though mama Basti doesn't much like her photo taken, she is one fantastic mom |

| This Grannie girl isn't very interested in her suitor, but hopefully age will change that |
| Sirensis lovebirds |
| This little Darkland female is on her way home to meet her new mate. Thank you Gabe, Ed, Chris, and of course Eric M! |

Oophaga Pumilio Rambala
Not much to report these days so I thought I'd pull out a couple photos that I forgot to post a while back. These are the photos I was originally sent when I purchased my Rambalas. I loved the crispness of the marking on the male (lower frog) in the first photo and the spotting of the male (left) in the second. I couldn't decide between the two pairs so I took both.

Transport Shot - Pumilio San Cristobal
I rarely seem to come across my frogs in transport and photographs of the event have all but completely eluded me. Granted this is not a photographic masterpiece, I was incredibly excited to get it!
I really must pick up a better camera and learn a few skills.

Pumilio Isla Popa (Golden)
It's been a bit since I posted about these guys and with good reason. The male from the trio was gone pretty quickly. I can only guess at an overload of parasites as the cause. I've been waiting to find a comparable male since my girls tested negative. I was able to pick up a very nice little male from a DB member recently. The girls and this guy are now finally in their permanent home and he's been calling like crazy. I love it when things work out.
And a FTS. It's a bit old, before the rest of the leaf litter was added and plants grew in a bit, but I didn't want to disturb them to clean off the front glass.
** Edit: I came back a couple hours later and found these. Glad I didn't disturb them.
