This little fine spot froglet has turned out pretty nice. Hoping it's a female to pair up with my extra male.

A Different Shade of Cristobal
Two Cristobal offspring. The little one on the right came out pretty red for a Cristo and has kept its color. It'll be fun to see it in about 3-5 years.

Newest Fine Spot Bastimentos
A couple new fs Basti babies came out of the water recently and this time I finally got legs like dad. Mom is of course gorgeous too, but just not quite as striking. Here they are with one from the previous group, that looks like mom, towards the back.
Closeups just after coming ootw
And mom with the next gen on her back.

Pretty Cristobals
Just a nice photo I got the other day of this pair. They produce such gorgeous offspring and will always be a favorite here!

Tiny Terrarium
I loved this little hanging terrarium from Cactus and Tropical so much that I just had to feature it here. Nice job C&T!

My Frog Prince
I am pretty sure that the frog prince legend was written about this guy. He has certainly charmed me. Every time I feed him, he comes right to the front and stares up at me with his huge black eyes. Today he looked at me and let out a single chirp. I, of course, responded with my best interpretation. We went back and fourth for about a minute before I ran for my camera hoping to catch the moment. Alas, he had shifted his attention to food and only briefly let me take a photo before returning to the feast.

Fine Spot Basti Babies
What's that? You want more photos of the Basti kids? No problem!
These two have stayed a nice cherry red.
But this little one has faded a bit with time. It looks orange in the picture, but it's actually fairly pink.

Rio Branco Girls
This is my first post on the Rio Branco pumilio since acquiring these kids last March. It took a while to get through the parasite situation that presented itself upon arrival, but with treatment they are now all clear and finally in their permanent home. The girls have definitely been getting a little bolder with time, but still tend to run from the camera. The male is nearly impossible to catch. As I mentioned a while back, my very fist pumilio was a Rio Branco. When I saw them for sale again I quickly jumped. I probably paid too much considering the recent influx of pumilio imports, but I was overtaken by sentimentality. I call the girls the sevens as they both have markings that resemble the # 7 on their back.
